Ming is a seasoned venture capital investor as well as a serial entrepreneur. He has over 15 years of experience in venture capital investment and founded several technology companies.
Ming is a former electrical engineer and was involved in many innovative design projects. Ming managed venture capital investments across IT, semiconductor, clean-tech, automotive and bio-tech industries. Most recently, he was a partner and President of Pac-Link Ventures. At Pac-Link, he steered the investment and exit strategies of many companies and led a team of more than 20 investment professionals.
Prior to Pac-Link, Ming was the co-founder and CEO of Luxo Communications, a start-up focusing on Passive Optical Network systems. Before Luxo, he was the founder and CEO of APAQ, a PC systems company. Ming also co-founded ECS, a dominate player in the PC motherboard market that he took public on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.
Ming graduated with a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan.
